Elbow joint being a hinge joint:
Is made up of three bones i.e. the humerus, the ulna and the radius, where the hinge caused at the meeting point of ulna and humerus facilitates straightening and bending of the elbow. The inside of the elbow joint is made of bones and tendons that are covered by an articular cartilage that enable smooth functioning of the bones and protect them from deterioration.
